Heat Check

Hello everyone!

We're planning to have an event called Heat Check at the BukitHub.

It's basically a debate with an awareness spin. A topic is chosen and the debate starts, the facilitators observes the debaters and when they see that one of the debaters is "activated" the red flag is raised. The debate pauses, and the host guides everyone through a few minutes of simple sensation observation meditation. Then the debate starts again.

This isn't a typical debate where someone wins and another loses. It is a new model for disagreement: where the most important skill is not defeating the other person, but staying conscious under pressure.

Essentially it's a live debate where pressure becomes practice
