BaliSquad is a locally run company, registered in Indonesia as PT Lumara Karya Nusantara. We’re based here in Bali and build our platform for the community around us.
These Terms are a plain-language agreement between you and PT Lumara Karya Nusantara ("BaliSquad", "we", "us"). By using our website, app, or any of our features, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use BaliSquad.
We’ve tried to keep this readable. Where something is legally important, we’ve been clear about it.
1. What BaliSquad is (and isn’t)
BaliSquad is a discovery and coordination platform. We help people find events, RSVP to them, get notifications, share events, discover communities, and access member deals.
We are not the organizer of the events listed. Events are created, hosted, run, and controlled by third-party organizers (“Hosts”). We simply make them easier to find and join.
We do not:
- Own, run, sponsor, or supervise any event listed by a Host.
- Verify, guarantee, or endorse the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any event.
- Act as an agent, partner, or joint venture of any Host or attendee.
- Think of us as the noticeboard and the RSVP desk — not the party’s host.
2. Our role is limited to platform features
What we provide is limited to tools such as:
- Event discovery and search.
- RSVP / guest list management (including approval-based RSVP where a Host approves attendees).
- Notifications and reminders.
- Sharing and links.
- Communities, feeds/moments, and member deals where available.
- That’s the extent of our responsibility. Everything about the event itself is the Host’s responsibility (see Section 4).
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
- You’re responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be old enough to enter a binding contract under Indonesian law, and old enough to attend the specific event.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms or abuse the platform.
4. Host responsibilities (this is important)
If you list or run an event on BaliSquad, you are the Host and you are fully responsible for that event. This includes, without limitation:
- Legality & permits: Making sure the event is legal and that you hold every required licence, permit, insurance, and government approval.
- Immigration & visas: Ensuring the event and any activity involved comply with Indonesian immigration law. You are responsible for confirming that you and your attendees hold the correct visas or permits (for example, that participants are not doing work or activities their visa does not allow). BaliSquad does not provide immigration advice and is not responsible for the visa status of Hosts or attendees.
- Event conduct & management: Planning, staffing, running, and supervising the event; crowd control; and handling anything that happens on the day.
- Safety & venue: Providing a safe environment, safe equipment, and a suitable, lawful venue.
- Accuracy: Making sure your listing (time, price, location, description, rules, refund policy) is true and up to date.
- Payments & refunds: Handling your own ticketing, payments, taxes, and refunds directly with attendees, and honoring what you promised.
- Local laws & tax: Complying with all applicable Indonesian laws, including consumer protection and tax obligations.
- You agree that BaliSquad is not liable for your event, and you’ll cover us (indemnify us) for claims arising from your event or your breach of these Terms.
5. Attendee responsibilities
If you RSVP or attend an event:
- You deal directly with the Host for entry, payment, refunds, and any dispute.
- You’re responsible for your own visa, travel, health, insurance, and legal status while attending.
- You attend at your own risk and must follow the Host’s rules and local laws.
- An RSVP is a request to attend; the Host decides on approval, capacity, and entry.
6. Content you post
- You keep ownership of content you upload (event listings, photos, moments, comments).
- You give us a licence to display and promote that content on and off the platform so the features work (e.g. showing your event, generating share images).
- You must have the rights to whatever you post, and it must not be illegal, misleading, offensive, or infringing.
- We may remove content or listings at our discretion, especially if reported.
7. Prohibited behaviour
Don’t use BaliSquad to:
- Post fake, illegal, unsafe, or misleading events.
- Harass, scam, or endanger other users.
- Break Indonesian law (including immigration, gambling, or licensing rules).
- Scrape, hack, or disrupt the platform.
8. Disclaimers
- The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will be error-free or always online.
- We make no warranty about any event, Host, or attendee.
- Any dealings between Hosts and attendees are solely between them.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by Indonesian law:
- BaliSquad is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, cost, or dispute arising from an event, a Host, an attendee, or from immigration/visa matters.
- We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- If we are ever found liable despite the above, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for using the platform in the 3 months before the claim.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify PT Lumara Karya Nusantara and its team against any claims, damages, or costs arising from your event, your use of the platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
11. Changes and closure
- We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change and continued use means you accept the new version.
- We may add, change, or remove features, or suspend/close the service, at any time.
12. Privacy
Your use of BaliSquad is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data (including for RSVP and notifications).
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Denpasar, Bali.
