🏆 WHAT IS SUCCESS?
In this session, we’ll use the Socratic Method to break down our assumptions and examine what we think we know — by deliberately questioning it.
COME READY
Prepare a short statement defining your view of success. You may also bring a quote. For example: “A successful person pursues happiness”, “Success and purpose are the same thing”, etc.
The event is divided into 3 parts:
1. Sharing Round
We sit in a circle, introduce ourselves, and share our statements.
2. Socratic Questioning
You’ll pair up — one as Socrates, the other as the respondent.
3. Sharing Round
We return to the circle and share our insights, conclusions, and impressions.

About Deep Talks
Deep Talks replaces Philosophy Club, which has been running for three years in Canggu.
It is led by a community of critical thinkers who believes in the power of good and challenging conversations.
We meet twice a month to explore ideas that matter, with humour, passion, respect, and curiosity.
